….and all Lovee Lolitsky needs to do is go back to Seven and drop the Six wing…book the ticket…get on the plane…go to Mexico…succumb to the wims of this Eight here and have a grand old time with Dilly, Rikki, Nodsky, Suds, and all the rest…So if one sees Lovee…tell her to come on down and I promise her a big hug and her own room…we even have a food scale…By the way, this is all written in code and who knows what I am talking about? Do I? Does Childstar or Estaban? Maybe Wee Wee in Indio knows…by the way…Edie Sedgwick would be 66 this year…the former it-girl of the youthquake….her knees would be the only thing quaking if she was still around….photo by SHIho….
The Mirror Went North…
…here is a picture of a mirror that I completed a few months ago. It now lives in San Rafael, California in the home of Laura Jorgensen…she is an actress up there. She came out to the house with Carol Watanabe and others. Richard delivered it to her in his suitcase. A lovely couple in Mexico City had seen this mirror in my studio and wanted it…but it had been sold. I am making another Tibetan themed mirror for them and delivering it next week….Life is Good! But could someone telepathically yell at my dogs and tell them to quiet down at night…they were howling all last night…is the moon acting up?
OK Everyone…
…at least those of you who read this blog…We need to have a group hug for Anado. Times are really busy here in the studio and I am feeling a bit overwhelmed…I need to finish two more commissions by Thursday and have them delivered by Saturday with the third which is finished. I need to complete another commission to take to Mexico City on Tuesday morning….the doors upstairs that were just sold need to be taken down and packed to be delivered to Texas by Sunday…new doors need to be out fitted and gessoed to replace the others…so everyone gather around….ahhhhhhhhh…plus there are two groups coming on Thursday for a tour…consider this posting as list or a chance for me to cry out for help to the Maestro that resides within! Included is a shot of the studio frenzy….also hi there, Whitley and Lolita!
It Happened in Mexico…
…the year was 1968. To me, this is one of the most important photos of our lifetime. It was an amazing era and I am glad to have run across this photo today. Obama is the man in the big chair up north and Tommie Smith and John Carlos helped him get there with this protest 41 years ago in Mexico City…I just felt I needed to post this. Love to all!
The Key to Happiness…
…now that is a tall order indeed. But we all know that there are lots of choices…so pick one! If it works…use it…or pick another. Everything is revealed in time. Sometimes I am the happiest man in the world, and then that 'ol reptilian brain of mine surfaces and I plunge into unconsciousness…but it appears that without fail, if I am open, the portals open up and I get another key. Rumi once said that even if you have broken your vows a thousand times…come yet come again. And that is so. Dear Rumi learned the art of spinning into the truth…every revolution from the source brought him closer to His True Nature because he had a longing in His heart…That longing is what I need to cultivate…
You Can Get There From Here…
…that is if you know where "here" is and if there is a "there" to reach. This whole Mystery never ceases to amaze 'ol Anado. I am lucky to be surrounded by some very beautiful souls both in human and animal form…let's not forget the plant life and the winged ones. If I just take a moment to listen and remember my True Nature…All is revealed. I think this post is brought on by the lingering taste of a film I saw last night on my computer while resting in bed. The name of the film is "The Reader". I was mesmerized to the millionth degree and then some. If you have not seen this film….see it! On a weather note, the nights are getting warmer…some of the native trees are beginning to flower. I will get our cold sensitive plants out of their winter retreat next week. So if you want to get there from here, my advice is to just do it and not think about the outcome…by the way, that advice is really for me! Love to All!
