As I progress through this sideshow called life, I am forced to embrace this aging with gusto and dread. On the one hand….I continue to create and on the other hand…there is the end game…Only so much time…to get this all done…whatever this:is…it has to happen…all of this is crying to unfold…I am the midwife of this situation. In other words..I am getting older and I am committed to this creative process….letting it unfold…here is a photo of me as I age like a fine Oklahoma rose rock.

The Continuation of All That is Totally Groovy
So this amazing life continues as I approach the overly ripe age of sixty. Yes, on May 24th I will be turning the big six-oh. But I am very grateful to have made it this far. Further along…as someone once said. We will be celebrating the big day with just a few friends…Birthday celebrations for fifty and forty were grand affairs…this will be more low-key as I sneak in under the wire. Love to everyone in this magnificent universe….now will someone please help that poor George Bush to awaken to his authentic potential…
I Have So Many Ideas
Since I have returned to the States for this brief visit….I have so many new ideas with color and pattern (all stolen but morphed and Anado-ized)….I can’t wait to get back and do it….I got some new glasses today…better to see the ideas with. “Get back, Loretta”. Lolita is visiting here today, we are going for Thai food tonight…..she is hugging an old Bhagwan robe on the 50’s couch….at one time in my life, I was so absolutely riveted to the shadow of the guru….what to do? I can’t wait to eat the mushroom and basil appetizers tonight…I mean basil stuffed eggplant!!!!!!!!
Back in the U-S-S-A
I am in San Francisco….my computer crashed over three weeks ago down in Mexico. Richard and I bought this new macbook tonight and then went out to dinner at FireFly (our favorite SF restaurant). It is so fricking cold hear…I mean really cold!!!!! In many ways, I am glad to be here and I also miss the life back in Mexico with all the animals and the Ramirez family. But here I am with Richard and we are glad to be together again. I will be writing more with this really fast computer by my side. Love to all!
Oh Where Have I Been?
My computer crashed two weeks ago. I have to buy a new one when I go to the States next week. Such is life. At the same time, the telephone is acting up and the stereo in my studio is being weird too. It is as if, my electronic appendages have entered into a digital Mercury in Retrogade. Richard has been reading me my email over the telephone. Who would have thought that my depending on all these gadgets would reach such heights? Deep inside the mezcuita brambles near the chapel sight, Jimmy Ray is waiting…everything is on hold, but somehow progressing. When I get back from the States…it will be full-on. Love to everyone! Today we are working at Patrice’s house. Life is good and bountiful!!!!!
Banos and Bottles
The foundation has been dug out for the banos (bathrooms). Looks like things are happening. Carlos has begun to cut the bottles for the walls using a wet saw. In the meantime, I am getting the bites for more commission work. Jimmy Ray watches from afar, encouraging me to be more wakeful. I am working in the studio on a new artifact called “When I Awaken, I will Remember Everything”. It is a slow process…but I like the work. The dots and beads continue to wind there way through the process. I have to admit, I am a bit stuck in the mud…everything just needs to be remembered…”Change the channel when you incur the mud.”
Wake up! Wake up! Remember thyself, Anado!!!!!!!! Before I forget, 25 years ago yesterday, I went to the Commune in Oregon….all these years later…I am so glad the Commune folded. I would hate to think where I would be if I had spent 25 years there. I am glad things moved on…lucky too!
