Today is the last class that I am teaching for the season…it will be fun and I am well aware of the full plate of work that awaits me through next November….I am in a two person show on April One…gotta finish that…make necklaces all the month of April for trunk shows in the States in May……Artist in Residence in Santa Barbra the whole month of June for the Sostice Parade in that fair city by the Sea…then I have to create 20 new pieces for a one man show in Pozos in November…that kind of thing…oh….and my birthday is May 24th…add 40 to that 24 and you get the picture of what milestone I am achieving… as my Beloved Teacher in India once proclaimed. "Life is not a problem to be solved…but a Mystery to be Lived…"…living the life…Gracias por todo….
Chapel of Jimmy Ray Blog
So…..
…it has been waterfalls, rainforest, desert, land, beach, falling down stairs, driving past celestial cactus shrineland, therapy, feeding dogs, cats and burros, missing sleep, slacking, working my butt off, leading tours, spooning with Richard, photographing famous photographers, photographing famous photographer's naked wife, leading more tours, mosaics, paints, dots, rhinestones, money, no money, remembering Allen, watching cops shows, stepping on thorns, tieing my shoelaces, washing dishes, more tours, loving Richard, missing Richard, Pozos, dust, reality, grooving, teaching classes, selling my work cleaning up after animals…this…this…a thousand times this…..
Life Leads Us Back to the Life…..
…we leave this morning for our return trip to San Miguel. Of course Richard and I are packed and ready to go and our friends have not even begun to pack…..in fact two of them are still asleep. I find that if I allow myself to get in my head…then I get anxious about the drive and the work that awaits me when we get home. But if I exercise my breath and allow more residential access to my deep belly breathing….then all is fine…definition becomes unknowable and I can ride the Mystery as it unfolds…I beckon the Universal…I envoke prayer…I dig deep into the tools that have led me here as I trade the negative for all that is…just this…and that is the POETRY to embrace. We are simply heading home…no big deal…living the Life…How cool is that?
The Beach is our G-Spot…..
…."g" stands for gilactic…we are winding down here at Zihuatenejo and heading back to San Miguel tomorrow. It has been a groovily lazy time…however, I have been the target of numerous " nosee'ums"…these hopelessly tiny bugs that have been munching on my delicious lil' body…so Zihuatenejo is getting a "C" in my book…however, the weather has been divine and the food has been tremendously ultra-groovy. I will be glad to get back home and into the studio…I can only indulge in so much non-doing before I need to plug back in….so we will return to the Source Center of our Particular Groove for more Polishing of the Secrets that rise from the Pool of Mystery that intrigues, nourishes, and amazes us without bounds or beliefs…..
It’s a Groove Beach…..
Groundhog Day….

I salute and honor all of my friends and all of their dreams and more. May the Eternal Spring trigger the reverence in your heart and may all the flowers shower in your Beingness…May it always be Happy Hour….and may all of you buy art from the fellow whose photograph accompanies this post…Be There…Don't be Square…Buy now! Sending love and salutations from the Beach!
