My assistant, Carlos Ramirez Galvan, was elected the #2 Delegado for our lil' village of LaCieneguita. That means that he will be a representative for his pueblo in San Miguel. This is so absolutely cool. He is a brilliant artist and a true friend. I am absolutely proud of him. He supports a wife, five boys, and a daughter. People have seen his work at our house and his mosaics are showing up all over San Miguel. He honed his craft here while working at Casa de Las Ranas. Included is a photo of Carlos with some of his sons and two relations…Carlos has the "Mexico" tee shirt on in this photo…Way to go, Carlos!

Simbha
…are divine dog Simbha cut his leg pretty bad today. Either he was hit by a car, got in a fight, or was gored by a cow…I saw four cows out in front of our house today after I discovered Simbha's injury. They were walking loose up the road…ah country life! I was able to take him to Doctor Lopez this afternoon. Doctor Lopez is a gem…he came in on a Sunday afternoon. He truly loves and cares for animals. I left Simba there…he is staying over for the evening. I know he is going to be ok, however, his injury touched me deeply. We have a total of 16 animals in our care and Simbha is the alpha male who watches over our property and the other dogs, cats, and burros. Such is life here in the campo. Richard is still up North….I will meet him in Mexico City in less than two weeks…. I could use a dose of Richard up close….Regards to all!
Another Day…..
…yesterday was interesting. It started off with the launching of my
new redesigned website (www.madebyanado.com). It is a very exciting
and delightful and funky as can be design. I am quite grateful to
Ursula Malecki for her amazing skills and her youthful vision of my
work. Later that morning the "questionably employed" aging Tart across
the street nearly ran over some Floridian tourists who were taking
pictures of our house from the street. It seems the Tart's boyfriend
was running down the cobble road towards town and the "aging one" tore
after him in her Ford Explorer which has rhinoceros guards on the
headlights…later in the day I was careful when I walked outside on
the grounds of our home because I feared more retaliation on the part
of the Tart and I did not want to be the resting spot of any stray
bullets that she may choose to shoot at her wayfaring love object…So
I spent time on the computer and in the studio…hung out with the
dogs…Did Facebook (a black hole)…later I went to a party in
town…The House was amazingly tacky in a moneyed way…but the caviar
was great and the tres leche cake screamed of cream…I got home in
time to watch "The Hurt Locker" with Perla and Cielo and was reminded
of the Shock and Awe that blew up in George Bush's face and was
saddened to know that "War is a drug"…sleep came as an invitation to
the nether worlds of color and delight and movement and fanciful
changes…Viva la Vida!
More for the Floor
Go to the Mirror, Boy…..
…the mirror is always pointing back at me…everything that I witness is a reflection of myself. In the Blame Game that I sometimes find myself immersed in…I just have to look at the object of my blame…and there is Anado looking back at me. These lessons are so rich and dense at the same time. I pride myself that I was fortunate to go to India as a young man and find such a colossal teacher that allowed himself to be such a magnificent and wondrous reflection of all that mankind is capable of. I bow down to this day to that benevolent rascal….see me, feel me, touch me…heal me…..
Casa de Caca Update
…it has taken me awhile to post these photos…I have some kind of avoidance with my blog lately. So I am listening to Lovee and posting these pics…the building is circular so these are pictures of the base which houses the "shit boxes"…a floor will be installed and the walls will be bottles…capped with a dome…dig?
The beginning of the "shit boxes" (I am so adept at my choice of words)….
