California
I have been here in California now for a bit over 2 days. It is a refreshing change to say the least. Even though it is unusually warm, I am so glad to reconnect with and see old friends. We went to the Farmer’s Market today and found a extremely funky flea market on Harrison Street for a few really flavorful items. Last night we saw a "farewell" performance of Nicholas Glover and Wray…totally inspired harmonies…it is too bad that they were never discovered professionally… so, getting around a lot and seeing and doing and getting my California hit (A Consumer Paradise)….Grooving is easy! Love to all!
My Inner Woman
Last night I dreamed that I was on a bus. I found an uninvited woman who happened to be sitting on my lap. I noticed that she had been sitting beside me next to the window of the bus. I felt that my space had been invaded yet I was curious to know who this person was. Her back was to me and she was looking over her shoulder to me. This dream is full of meaning. To me it seems that my inner woman want to integrate with me and this female nature has vision. Could any of you noble women who are my friends give me any tips in the art of female integration?
I’m just a guy, albeit a different kind of guy, who needs help in this process. I welcome comments, even from my men friends. Is Richard there?
Darshan is Every Moment
Included is a partial photo of a piece I am working on with the above title. It is about a memory of meeting my teacher in Darshan 30 years ago. The encounter was not about words. It was received in the deepest Silence and filled with a Love so Unconditional that it knocked me out. I told myself that I would always remember that moment in Time…so now I am adding color and giving it more definition deep down within my soul. By the way, Robert Rauschenberg died today. His early combine paintings were a major influence..that’s MAJOR in my approach to Art. Goddess bless him!
