…..of my Being, I am asking the "powers that be" (if there are said "powers") to please do something about the human race. The extreme behavior that is happening all over the planet is reaching a crescendo of rare proportions that threatens to really wipe out the life force that we all share. Consciousness has not kept up with technology and technology is in the hands of some really dangerous people with neandrathalic brain cells…Don't get me started on Religion: the poison of consciousness. So…Dear Creation…may we somehow turn on a dime and return to the Source of "What is"…and help those who attatch themselves to "What's Not"…and kinda get a Woodstock Thing happening again..sorta like…"Be Here Now"…you know what I'm sayin'…Yes? No?

“If All the Hippies….
…cut off their hair…I don't care…'cuz I got my own freak flag to fly…"…yes Jimi Hendrix wrote the lyrics…those lines meant so much to me…but I believe he had a much deeper meaning in mind when he said that. I feel that he used hair as a metaphor for one's values and by keeping your hair (values) and letting your freak flag fly…you were not selling out…so many of those values that many of us shared have been forgotten…just look at all this Tea Party Shit and those most ridiculous values of middle-Amerika…Shame Shame Shame on Amerika…(freak flags few and far between)…that Health Care Bill should have been passed 6 months ago. I am proud of Obama…poor guy is part of the political structure…but he kept with it…he can not please everyone, but at least he cares and appears to have compassion…Goddess shine on Amerika…por favor!

The Wandering Electronic Exits from My Studio…
…well somebody stole my ipod and the player from my studio. It is a Mystery, especially after the disappearance of my Canon G-10 last summer. Inside job? I sure hope not. Maybe some thief has a key to the studio and knows when we are not home…anyhow, I still have my original ipod and rumor has it that a purple ipod Nano is heading this way as I write. Living in Mexico has its drawbacks…there is such a division between classes…I just shake my head and remember something I learned in Pune ages ago…allow then allow and allow some more…and remember where I tethered my camel…breathing…breathing Life….
So Far Today…
…I have worked in the stuio, made breakfast, had coffee, avoided Facebook, spoke on the telephone, cleaned up dog vomit in the studio, brushed my teeth, sat in the garden, made decisions about work at the Chapel Site, washed my face, done laundry, ate a tamale, hugged our cat, fed the cats, loved the dogs, pulled a weed, cleaned up mouse remains in the bathroom, painted in the studio, watched a DVD, talked to Richard…that kind of stuff…what does the rest of the day behold?
Carlos is the Man!
My assistant, Carlos Ramirez Galvan, was elected the #2 Delegado for our lil' village of LaCieneguita. That means that he will be a representative for his pueblo in San Miguel. This is so absolutely cool. He is a brilliant artist and a true friend. I am absolutely proud of him. He supports a wife, five boys, and a daughter. People have seen his work at our house and his mosaics are showing up all over San Miguel. He honed his craft here while working at Casa de Las Ranas. Included is a photo of Carlos with some of his sons and two relations…Carlos has the "Mexico" tee shirt on in this photo…Way to go, Carlos!
