Tormenta and ChicoChe

December 8, 2008 by anado 1 Comment

Well, Folks, it finally happened.  Our two most unaffectionate kitties Tormenta (Black and White) and ChicoChe (Yellow), have been declared last week's Pet of the Week…they tied.  These two food magnets won despite their constant whining…Lolita the Burro had the award sewn up, but she got out of the corral without permission….she is just like her namesake…for the uninitiated in the enneagram, Lolita the Burro has a strong 8 wing like her namesake up north…8 wing means very headstrong….am I getting through?  Oh…back to the cats…they are the product of Melenche and who knows what Tom Cat she hooked up with…they are not exactly the friendliest cats, but they are cute…especially when they cuddle…Hats off to the new winners!

Confessions of a Former Green Collar Gay With a Leaf Blower

December 6, 2008 by anado 2 Comments

I guess it is time for me to offer my confession to the public at large about a past trensgression that has caught up with me in terms of Kharmic Retribution.  Back in the old days when I was slinging my leaf blower as a gardener to the rich, famous, lonely and entitled…I used to break the law.  There was a statute that railed against using gas powered leaf blowers in both Sausalito and Mill Valley where many of my clients lived.  I would use my leaf blower anyway with a screw you" intention lodged in my reptilian pain body.  Now I am paying the priceweekly in Mexico.  The owner of the Hot Springs across the street uses a leaf blower every Saturday for at least 3 hours even though they have no business…I am forced to close the windows…turn up the music…and harbor bad feelings…Possibly the reason I am telling you all this is to come to terms with the invisible nature of this kharma and clean it up for good…so I salute the genius of existence for showing me these divine lessons…Gracias a la Vida!

Richard and Simba Congratulate Melinche…

November 21, 2008 by anado 2 Comments

…who was just voted Pet of the Week here in Groove Land.  Melinche was rescued as a tiny kitten one rainy night after her mother may have dropped her.  I heard her wails and went out in the really wet dark goo of la noche and brought her into our Groove Scene.  She hid in the closet for eight long months…had four kittens out of wedlock..had a lesbian affair with Cielo…now kinda dates Sueño…and is becoming weirdly friendly.  In this photo she had not quite realized that Simba was on the couch also…so we had to shoot this fast while voting…we have such a rich life here with our brood….We love them all!

OK…Where Have I Been…

November 12, 2008 by anado 3 Comments

…well obviously I have not been religiously typing blog entries.  What can I say…it has been a busy time coupled with the euphoria of Obama's election.  I have been in cosmic negotiation with Jimmy Ray about Chapel and artistic matters.  A full account will appear shortly after I talk with Richard upon his return on Saturday…this may or may not sound mysterious, however, a major change in Museo-direction is in the works….Did one ever notice that Muse and Museum share the same root?  Is a museum a jail for muses?  Are muses jail keepers for artists?  Is there a current of change running through this posting?  Stay tuned as the Mystery sorts itself out.  One thing is for certain, I will not be coloring my hair orange…purple maybe…but not orange….
