While Lovee was doing the Dinero Deposit…
…and I was busy forgetting to write in this blog….all kind of things were happening…all over the universe in all different ways, as if there was a creative conspiracy of like-minded students of the enneagram
who wished to get beyond their core issues and find a way to channel their energy beyond the wings of personality. It is all quite amazing…oh yes, we have started digging the foundation of the chapel itself….I will get a picture today and post it before I forget to write in the blog….Love to all!
The Old Man Sees…
…but does he retain? That remains to be seen. But I do know this: Plastics…for those of you who remember the film "The Graduate", will understand what I mean. Remember is the operative word these days for myself and many of my friends. Did Lovee remember her wig for the Solstice Parade in picturesque Santa Barbara, California last Saturday? That also remains to be seen…so I invite Lovee to send photos from the parade…so that I can remember to send her a tee-shirt…ah, Sweet Memory…now that I remember thee!
Got ’em
We picked up the tee shirts on Friday in Mexico City…I did not have my camera with me. I wanted to photograph the taller where the silk screening happened. The lost camera drama will be filed under VERY SENIOR MOMENT. But we had a great time. Went out on the town with Patrice, Claire,, and Sherry. Had dinner with a friend of Patrice's…Michael Parker. We had a great time in his Centro Historico apartment. Later went to a very cool jazz club. The musicians saluted us from the stage. I think because of our looks, Richard and I get noticed a lot. We just walk our walk…and love one another….I think the love shows! Oh…we found the camera and here is a hot off the press photo of the tee…they are already selling fast!!!!!!!
“You Used to Laugh About…
…everybody that was hangin' out". Those are Bob Dylan's words from the song "Like a Rolling Stone"…God that was a long time ago…..anyhow, remember when we used to just hang out?…I rarely do that anymore. But I need to add that to my agenda…(Does everyone have an agenda?). Richard is very good at hanging out…I was really good at it back in my youth…stoned, bobbing my head to "Sunshine of Your Love", watching things melt in LSD wantoness (one of my made up words)…I was a pro…but after years of re-wiring, I got back on my feet and with the help of a Guru or two…things changed. I guess I grew…I have always said I would never grow up…but growing never hurt anyone. So I may go downstairs now and hang out and read and maybe move and groove and feel real good into this twenty-first century. I was in the studio earlier working on some jewelry and I had the Ipod on and Steve Earle's "Jerusalem" came to play…the song really touches my heart, I was reminded again of this lucky gift of life…so ordinarily extraordinarily cool to be alive……ah This! By the way, this is Sueño, our cat.
Not Normal
I tend to look at this life through a particular lens. We all have the opportunity to express our response to our experience. It is an extraordinarily ordinary lens that I have chosen. Richard and I often share this occurrence…just living our life and celebrating the exclamation points. Recent events really heighten this wondrous glow…I have to admit I need a few practice swings while I jump back into the dance and that is happening. I am giving a class on Thursday and we are going down to Mexico City on Friday to pick up the tee shirts. Included here are some photos of the Life here. The rainy season has come an the garden is getting greener. That's Richard collecting misquita berries for the burros. That is Jose Luis and his family…they live up the road…a visnaga barrel cactus in bloom…the ordinary magic…the gifts we share in thiswondrous life is anything but normal….but ordinary…keep it simple: simply magnificent.
