…the other night…Lolita had left that afternoon for the States. A cold wind blew into San Miguel that night and for a brief time it was no longer Spring. You are probably wondering what I am aiming at…well, quite frankly, I am sort of ambling across the keyboard before I go down to the Studio to start the day…I am feeling a bit tense about a few projects…so I am just shaking out the bilge…emptying the tank and regreening the interior…ready to take the jump…Pulling the Trust Cord!!!!!!!! Yipee-I-O-

Dream of Groove
Finally! Some photos of Casa Kali. Richard returned two days ago with a new camera. Included are three photos of the Groove evolving into the quintessential Groove Space adorned in Groove Time reflecting the Dream of Groove. Tomorrow they start cementing the ceiling…it is so outrageous. I am so proud of these men…wow!
What’s This?
OK…We need some dialog…I know that there are some closet readers out there who never comment (not a sin)…and I want to know who is here sometimes…maybe Jimmy Ray will have me make you something…so…here it is: What is this picture about?…it needs a caption. If I hear only from my regular commenter (Lovee) and not others, I will be forced to confront my abandonment issues…..
Photo Op
Richard returns from San Francisco today with a new camera. Very cool. NOW we can take a picture of what is happening down below at the Chapel site. In the meantime, the roof is going up…quite a mindblower. It is a vaulted ceiling constructed by Carlos and his amazing family of nephews and brother in law Adrien. By the way,
Lolita sprained her ankle yesterday and is holed up at Cath and Liz’s place up the road from us. We are waiting to see if she can make it down to Mexico City with Richard and me on Friday for her departure back to Southern California….we shall see…but I must admit, the main topic is Richard’s return….Bliss…soon some photos will appear of the Chapel Studio…should I say? Casa Kali!!!!!
Casa Kali
Today I named the studio that we are erecting above the chapel site: Casa kali. It honors our sweet dog Kali who was run over last summer. She is buried near the studio. Carlos and Miguelito put her to rest there without my knowing. She was hit by a car down near our Guadalupe shrine. Carlos waited four months to tell me because he did not want me to freak out…me?… freak out? So our first dog in Mexico, the mother of Simba the alpha male and Wheels the alpha female, will be honored. We really loved her. Her nickname was Tuesday Weld. I am reminded of her quite often and there is a shot of her in Joe’s Film about the house. The film will be shown today in it’s final cut. He has sent it to some festivals for possible acceptance. Very exciting. I salute you, Kali, you are my divine friend! Included is a shot of Richard and I with Patzky and Perla…both dear comrades of Kali Groove. Before I forget…oops…that is a partial shot of Slidell Schultz in the photo next to Patzky….sorry, Slidell!
