This pretty much sums it up…We were all sobbing last night and today tears of joy and bittersweet memories mingle…For the first time in 41 years…I am proud of my American Heritage!

I’m with you on the pride thing about Obama, but man, I could not believe that measure 8 passed in CA…lots of work needed in separating religion from our politics still!
OH HAPPY DAY!!! Im so overwhelmed with how people rallyd together of all colours, races and nations to achieve this in my lifetime.
.Makes all i did in the 1960s worthwhile, the marches in the south, being shot at for being with my black husband, bottles thrown at me and being called N lover over and over. I cant even see today as my eyes are so swollen from sobbing. Now lets just get prop 8 taken care of and …………..
How could anyone vote for Obama and then also vote to take away someone’s rights? I was shocked.
