…an incredible amount of absolutely cool people have been showing up at our doorstep lately. I love the energies that find their way here. I remember years ago seeing the film "Children of Paradise"…a french film from the forties…it of course was subtitled and one of the recurring pieces of dialog was: "The World is a Small Place for Those Who Love"…it feels so true when I see some of the beauties that show up here. Yesterday we had a great lunch on one of the patios with folks from, Northern and Southern California, Austin, and San Miguel…what a treat…then today some artists from Ohio, Michigan and Colorado showed up…it was like meeting old friends…what a gift…Gracias a La Vida!

I’d love to show up at your doorstep someday. The closest I generally get to casa las ranas is Las Vegas (where we have family – and where I’m heading off to tomorrow, an 1800 mile drive for us).
Sometime in the near future I plan to go to Cuernavaca for a mosaic workshop (http://mosaicsinmexico.com/Workshop_Schedules.asp), but I’ve got to find the money first. On the map it looks like Cuernavaca is not all that far from you. But I’ve lived in the mountains (Pennsylvania) and in wild-ish places (very rural Wisconsin and Indiana) before, and I know that maps can be deceiving.
So since I can’t get there I’ll just sit back and enjoy the photos and stories of your home.
Thank you ever so much.

PS – I’ve been reading your blog since the July LA Times article and sharing it with others from the blog list on my blog. So if I’m not already counted in the 1.5 people reading your blog, you can up the count a bit 😉
